The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. The most significant advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. This uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't sweep in areas you don’t wish to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.
Its design is a step above the competition and features a sleek, top piece that appears more like a toy robotic than a loud, obnoxious one. Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal It also self-empties which can cut down on cleaning time.
In our tests, we observed that the j7+ was quick to removed dust, dirt, and pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one spot instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able capture sand, small gravel and even a little grit. Most robots could not achieve this feat. And it did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's shedding hair.
The j7+, although not as intelligent as the $1,217 Roomba S9and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and isn't able to clean the stairs, is still a good option for those who want both mopping and a vacuum. It's not expensive and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to know whether the update actually working until you see it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors A hybrid is the best choice. This kind of robot usually comes with a built-in tank for water that allows them to vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. These bots also come with a variety of extra features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're expensive at full retail but often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the premium features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories), it's still an excellent choice for those who are willing to compromise to save a few dollars.
best vacuums is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it a great choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in getting rid of dust bunnies which is a problem which many robot vacuums often be a bit sloppy. The Q5+'s navigation system is also excellent, with few misses on walls and corners.
Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled using a handful of buttons on the device or via the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleaning and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and adjust your home map, or re-label rooms.
If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make this robot simple to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed, emptying the bin can be done easily. It has a large LCD screen that is very useful for setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't essential for most people however it can help you to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and functionality are among the best on the market however it's expensive.
It is a relatively small base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. The station's main selling point is that it automates many tasks, chores and functions that other robots would leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require you to perform this.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tested that do an excellent job of cleaning up debris from plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It can't climb stairs as well as competitors, for instance and doesn't come with a dock that lets you to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets that are soft.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can do everything.
If you're looking to save some money or simply don't care about the limitations of this robotic there are many other options on the market with a wide range of eufy models that cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance, is cheaper however it comes with more features, including stairs and a fully-function Dock, with an improved overall experience when vacuuming on plain floors carpets with low pile as well as high-pile carpets.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company is a long-standing leader of making robot vacuums that strike the right balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning on hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be located near an outlet with plenty of space to move.
The G30 is a small device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, which means it can be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It features a sleek black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.
The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from its rivals. It uses an integrated map to make a picture of the immovable items in its path. It remembers what it has already cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning the area it left.
The elegant G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, has similar battery life and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as often and comes with an array of boundaries that ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating bulky material such as cereal.
